Summary

Required Skills:

Education: Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in incident and problem management, with a strong track record of handling major incidents and driving permanent resolutions.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, planning, and communication skills with the ability to lead by influence across teams during and after major incidents. Must remain calm, professional, and outcome-focused in high-pressure situations.
Technical Expertise: Strong troubleshooting skills with broad, hands-on experience in core infrastructure technologies including servers, compute, storage, networking, authentication, and databases.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Cloud Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform platforms, including compute, storage, networking, database, and security services.
Modern Architectures: Familiarity with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices-based architectures.
SRE Practices: Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.
Monitoring & Observability: Experience using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk for real-time system performance monitoring and incident detection.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of IaC tools including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Incident Tools: Proficient in incident and service management platforms such as BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, or similar.
On-Call Support: Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation for critical incident response.
