Job Details

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Kennesaw, GA and Chicago, IL. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Project management responsibilities relating to technology implementations, migration/cutovers, upgrades, conversion and recovery using the Enterprise Change tools and guidelines
  • Manage critical enterprise wide projects that impact multiple lines of business and are customer facing
  • Manage/coordinate resources within and across various lines of business and has matrix management responsibility
  • Balance soft skills, technical requirements, scheduling, milestone delivery to a tight plan and costs with an emphasis on soft skills
  • Identify and establish project milestones, works with the technical team to build out the WBS, identifies tasks and timelines
  • Manage budgets and work with management to make sure the project remains on budget or if additional funds are required, work with management to define the amount, the timeline and where it will come from
  • Have a good relationship with the accounting team who are responsible for moving the funding to the appropriate buckets
  • Define and evaluate problems and plans effective solutions
  • Understand stakeholder's expectations and objectives
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with management, team members and stakeholders
  • Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and makes the appropriate recommendations if necessary during project cycle
  • Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative manner

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Knowledge of core banking, processes and operations
  • Ability to communicate crisply and candidly, orally and in writing and at the Executive level
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, fast learner
  • Prior Delivery Lead Experience with firm understanding of the Enterprise Change requirements and Governance
  • Able to identify possible issues before they become an issue and successfully mitigate to keep the project (and personnel) on schedule
  • Comfortable working with upper level execs who you will report to on a weekly basis
  • Able to succinctly present progress as well as issues and be able to provide possible solutions as well as take constructive criticism and not let it affect you
  • Able to identify changing priorities within the project and move resources to continue the most effective use of the resources as many times you are competing for their time with other concurrent projects

Desired skills:
  • University degree or college diploma in the field of Business or Technology with 5-7 years direct work experience with Enterprise Wide project management capacity with Fortune 50 companies or similar large institutions, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • Self-motivated and quick-learner who can take the full ownership of assignments/projects and hit the ground running
  • Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong experience with Agile/waterfall methodologies
  • Financial services background
  • Excellent written (PowerPoint) and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential issues quickly with little to no impact to the team or the project
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Time management skills

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94
