Description
We are looking for a Configuration Analyst I to join our team in West Chester, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to analyze product design changes. The role involves ensuring adherence to configuration management standards while collaborating with customers and manufacturers to maintain accurate documentation and reporting processes.
Responsibilities:
Analyze product design changes to evaluate their impact on functionality and overall design.
Prepare and maintain documentation necessary to implement design changes effectively.
Collaborate with customers and manufacturers to establish and manage reporting processes for product changes.
Review engineering change data to ensure compliance with configuration management policies and procedures.
Monitor activities related to documentation changes and ensure alignment with established guidelines.
Assist in maintaining consistency and accuracy in product configurations across all processes.
Provide support to ensure procedural adherence and address any discrepancies in configuration management.
Work under supervision to execute tasks based on pre-established guidelines and instructions.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to streamline change reporting and documentation processes.
Apply knowledge of industry practices and procedures to ensure effective product configuration management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
0-3 years of experience in configuration analysis or a related area.
Familiarity with configuration management concepts, practices, and procedures.
Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and manufacturers.
Proficiency in reporting and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Knowledge of engineering change processes and their implications on product design.
Capability to work under supervision and follow established instructions.
