Job Title: Product Owner
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
NOTE: Experience: 5+ years required; Top Three Skills: -Knowledge of a digital sales funnel in a bank, and ability to structure and brief AB testing experiments to drive growth aligned to organizational goals. -Ability to write clear, well thought out, detailed requirements for authoring and development teams in a creative space focused on sales. -Ability to communicate product vision and strategy to executive leaders and get buy in on priority and approach; Required Skills: -Ability to brief AB tests and optimization efforts for a digital sales funnel and navigating measurement strategies with partners like analytics and marketing. -Strong cross-functional partnership building skills and ability to get up to speed rapidly with partners. -Excellent communication and presentation skills at multiple levels of a matrixed organization. -Ability to prioritize work based on value to the organization and make trade-offs. -Bachelor degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience; Desired Skills: -Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Experience Manager, Figma. -Existing knowledge or ability to quickly understand KPIs for Deposits, Auto, Dealer, and Corporate business units. -Manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment with rapid change. -Experience presenting and building materials to share funnel performance. -Ability to respond to product and experience feedback, leveraging data to drive enhancements to the product. -Experience leveraging Voice of Customer to inform the roadmap; Ideal Candidate Profile: Looking for an experienced product owner with solid digital sales experience in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of AB testing, optimization, promotions, and personalization of sales journeys and can work at the intersection between Marketing and the Account Opening funnel to ultimately convert users to applicants. This candidate is a self-starter that can get up to speed rapidly in an organization going through change. The individual should be experienced presenting to executive leaders, while doing individual contributor work to define requirements, brief work in, get approvals for stakeholders, and own a product roadmap; Industry Experience: -At least five years of experience as a Product Owner in digital sales, digital marketing, or account opening. -Knowledge of a direct to consumer financial services flow; Tools or Technologies: JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Figma; Education: Bachelor degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience; Work Schedule: Hybrid. 3 4 days in office. 1 2 remote; Interview Process: Video or Onsite depending on schedule. Job Description:
As the Senior Product Owner for Digital Sales, you will drive conversion optimization and sales growth for businesses at the nation s largest all digital bank. This senior position requires the ability to navigate complex analysis of the sales funnel, define strategy to improve conversion, and have a high attention to detail and execution of work. The Product Owner should have experience leading others, knowledge of the sales funnel for a financial services organization, and strong understanding of marketing journeys to acquire and convert users.
Job Responsibilities:
This role also must provide enhancements and improvements to the product.
This individual will be responsible for ensuring an optimal online and/or customer experience for various parties.
The Product Owner is responsible for gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements, system requirement specification reviews, analytics requirements, and user acceptance testing for projects and releases that impact the digital channels.
Prioritize the backlog of features and stories to optimize value for the customer and business to form a roadmap.
Partner with stakeholders and development partners to ensure the success of the product.
Understand and measure product performance.
Understand the Voice of the Customer and champion the customer experience.
Maintains certain subject matter expertise for the aligned Product and/or Business Unit.
Execute work and take it through the process to get authored, published, and tested.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Extensive knowledge of the sales funnel and able to rapidly get up to speed with little to know hands on management.
5+ years of relevant experience as a Product Owner
Experience supporting business units to develop and execute Digital Products and Experience strategies for promoting products and services. High level of execution to ensure that the Experience aligns with the overall business strategy.
Ability to respond to product and experience feedback, leveraging data to drive enhancements to the product.
Partnership with design and content teams to ensure our Products and Experiences meet objectives.
