Senior Data Analyst Remote - (EST / CST time zone) Full Time
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our client s Enterprise Data team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience, with a deep understanding of the P&C insurance domain, strong data modelling capabilities, and advanced skills in Snowflake. Experience working with Agency Management Systems such as EPIC and AMS360 is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust data models to support business analysis and reporting. Translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions. Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and transformation processes using Snowflake. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Create dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives across underwriting, claims, finance, and operations. Leverage domain knowledge of P&C insurance to derive insights and drive business value. Integrate data from Agency Management Systems (EPIC, AMS360) and other relevant sources. Support data governance, quality, and documentation initiatives.
Requirements: 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data modelling, or business intelligence roles. Strong understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance business lines. Proficient in Snowflake including SQL, schema design, and performance optimization. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and familiarity with Python or other scripting languages Experience with data management, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with data from Agency Management Systems such as Vertafore AMS360 or Applied EPIC. Is a plus Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure and modern data stack tools
