Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Director of AI & Data Science for an internal strategic project. This leadership role will oversee global AI and Data Science initiatives, drive adoption, and create measurable impact across the enterprise. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise in AI/ML with strategic leadership and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with senior business leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities and deliver measurable business value.
Lead global AI & Data Science initiatives, including strategy, adoption, and responsible AI practices.
Translate technical AI/ML capabilities into business-oriented narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
Champion AI-driven decision-making, process modernization, and efficiency improvements.
Mentor, manage, and scale a high-performing global team of 16 data scientists.
Ensure governance, risk management, and ethical use of AI/ML.
Build and maintain external partnerships to strengthen AI adoption.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field (Master s or PhD preferred).
Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Science/AI, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
Hands-on expertise with machine learning techniques (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning).
Proven success in driving AI adoption, analytics transformation, and strategy at scale.
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence non-technical leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, distributed computing, AWS, and software development.
Background in agriculture, sales, or related industries.
