RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a BI Data Analyst/Specialist in Smithfield, RI.
Duties:
* Analyze and interpret complex datasets from various sources to identify patterns and transformations to inform future state design
* Document data logic, processes, and findings in a clear and structured manner
* Synthesize analysis into compelling narratives and flow diagrams for stakeholders
* Collaborate with data architects and engineering teams to define and implement new data consumption models to ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms and outputs
REQUIREMENTS:
* 8-10 years of experience working with data environments and strong knowledge in querying language and/or querying applications (SQL, Alteryx)
* Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data blending and workflow automation
* Experience with Python for data analysis and automation
* Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially with data engineering, modeling and architecture
* In depth knowledge of a variety of analytics techniques including data profiling and data mining
* Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation
* Expertise in VBA Macros and MS Office tools
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Strong skills in data analysis of the existing systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the areas of strategy development, business analysis, risks and opportunity assessment
* You know how to acquire data from multiple sources/environments, understand their lineage and transform data so it can be used for analytics
* Ability to clearly communicate complex data flows to diverse stakeholders
* Ability to think on your feet and respond effectively when priorities change
Preferred:
* Experience in migration of legacy applications and processes to new technologies
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
* Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
