Job Description

Who are we looking for? We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with expertise in Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and strong domain knowledge in Business Lending. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving Salesforce FSC enhancements to support commercial and small business lending workflows, collaborating with stakeholders across product, lending operations, and engineering teams. This role goes beyond configuration-requiring hands-on development skills and a strategic understanding of financial data models and lending lifecycle processes.

Technical Skills:

Primary Skills

8+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 4+ years in FSC

Strong domain expertise in Business Lending workflows, including opportunity lifecycle, credit memos, covenants, and collateral tracking

Proficiency in SOQL, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Familiarity with FSC data model, especially financial accounts, borrowers, and householding

Hands-on experience with data integration tools like Data Loader or MuleSoft

Experience designing and implementing custom objects, flows, and automations to support loan origination and servicing

Strong debugging and data quality skills

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop FSC solutions tailored to business lending use cases

Collaborate with credit analysts, underwriters, and business users to gather requirements

Customize Salesforce FSC objects and relationships to align with loan processes

Manage and support data migrations, record deduplication, and data enrichment

Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components

Lead or contribute to the integration of Salesforce with core banking or loan origination systems

Provide guidance to offshore/onshore developers when applicable

Partner with QA, business analysts, and platform architects to ensure scalable, secure solutions

Process Skills:

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks

Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments

Behavioral Skills:

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Strong analytical and documentation abilities

Self-driven, able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to evolving priorities

Passionate about delivering impactful, business-aligned solutions in the financial services sector

Certifications:

One or more Salesforce certifications required (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, FSC Accredited Professional, Administrator)
