Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for healthcare facilities and universities, ensuring they meet all necessary requirements and specifications.
- Prepare documents for LEED certifications and ensure all projects adhere to LEED standards.
- Plan project production, including scheduling and budgeting, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, coordinating with other team members and stakeholders as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the design, development, or testing phases of projects.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments and trends in electrical engineering to ensure our company remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to deliver high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs and expectations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on designing electrical systems for healthcare facilities and universities.
- Experience preparing documents for LEED certifications.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning project production and managing projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and coordinate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficient in using electrical design software and other relevant tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with the latest developments and trends in electrical engineering.
