Job Details

Job Title: Senior System Analyst API Integration Specialist
Location: [Tempe, AZ] Remote (PST Time)
Employment Type: Full-time
W2 Only
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior System Analyst with 8 9 years of experience, particularly in designing and implementing API integrations across complex systems.The ideal candidate will play a key role in aligning business needs with scalable technical solutions, managing system integrations, and optimizing API architectures. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise systems, data flow, and software development lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 8 9 years of experience as a System Analyst or similar technical role.
  • Extensive experience with API integration (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML, and data transformation.
  • Proficiency in API testing and documentation tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI).
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and application architecture.
  • Experience in cloud integration (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of system integrations using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Gather and translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and architects to deliver scalable and secure systems.
  • Define and enforce best practices in API architecture, including versioning, security, and documentation.
  • Manage data mapping, transformation logic, and system workflows across various platforms.
  • Conduct gap analysis, system impact assessments, and feasibility studies.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including system architecture, API specs, and integration plans. Support testing teams in developing test cases and troubleshooting integration issues.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of system analysis practices. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices. Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
  • Familiarity with microservices, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven systems.
  • Preferred Certifications (Optional): Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Integration Services certification API Management certifications (Apigee, Mulesoft, etc.)
