Responsibilities:
- Assist in the developing and supporting of a Regulatory Transaction Reporting application across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes for OTC Derivatives and FX products
- Contribute to all phases of the SDLC including analysis, design, development, unit test, QA, UAT, and also tier-2 production support
- Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Implement of security and data protection
- Work closely with lead developers to implement Java application architectures and designs
- Maintain existing applications to support operations
- Produce documents including design documents, and class diagrams
- Perform testing with technical peers and functional end users to ensure successful launch of development projects
- Promote quality engineering and good coding practices across the company
- Design and develop distributed, high volume, high velocity multi-threaded event processing systems using Core Java technology stack in an agile setting
- Understand the object-oriented design and development principles
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience in development
- Previous experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, NoSQL databases or related technologies is desirable
- Regulatory Transaction Reporting in CFTC/EMIR/MIFID jurisdiction and good working experience with OTC derivative products with any OOP language
- Experience with Oracle or similar RDBMS technologies handling large volumes of datasets
- Structured and logical thinking

- Strong communication (written and verbal)
- Experience in Dodd Frank regulatory transaction reporting for CFTC, EMIR, or MiFID II
- Experience with other Big Data frameworks
- Experience with DevOps model and tools like Ansible
- Experience in the financial industry
