Job Details
As an Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of reactors and the various supporting tools in a class 100 clean room environment.
Type: 6 - 7 Month Contract
Salary: $23-25/hrly (Max of 27.16/hrly)
Location: San Jose, CA
Schedule: (4 days - 12 hr shifts / 3 days - 12 hr shifts)
Day Shift: is M-W, M-Th, alternating weeks 6am-6pm

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and load wafers into the various tools in the manufacturing floor.
- Follow work instructions to set up reactors, metrology or wafer fab tools. Ensure verification, if necessary, is completed correctly per work instructions.
- Monitoring production process and shutdown tools for troubleshooting. Follow instructions to initiate troubleshooting tools and escalate to maintenance and engineering if needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in safety training programs to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a related field preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
