Job Details

Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: El Monte, CA - Has to work 4 days at least onsite at the client.

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Experience: 10 Years

Local to CA profiles is First Priority

(Need 4-5 Years of Financial Domain experience in Recent Projects)

 

Description of Services and Role:

 

· Operate, optimize, and troubleshoot Cisco networks (routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPN).

· Contribute to network architecture/design, standards, and documentation.

· Partner with MSPs for escalations, monitoring, and change management.

· Source, purchase, rack/stack, and configure network/security hardware.

· Implement hardening, patching, and incident response best practices.

· Integrate/administrate Microsoft Intune and Defender; monitor Darktrace alerts and tune policies.

· 6–8 years in enterprise networking with strong Cisco expertise.

· Proven experience with deployments, upgrades, and lifecycle management.

· Solid security fundamentals (segmentation, IDS/IPS, NAC, zero trust concepts).

· Working knowledge of Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Darktrace.

· Clear documentation, ownership mindset, and cross-team communication.

· Nice to have: CCNP (or equivalent), Azure networking, SD-WAN, Meraki.
