RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Project Manager - Civil Engineering (Site Development).
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects across municipal, commercial, and residential land development sectors. This role oversees a team of engineers and designers, ensuring high-quality project delivery that meets client expectations, schedules, and budgets.
Responsibilities:
* Manage creation of site civil drawings, including site, grading, utility, drainage, erosion control, and demolition plans
* Oversee and/or perform required engineering calculations for civil design
* Lead projects from entitlement and design through construction, ensuring technical accuracy and regulatory compliance
* Handle administrative duties such as proposals, scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, client communication, and delivery oversight
* Supervise a team of engineers and design technicians, delegating tasks and guiding technical direction
* Conduct ordinance reviews, coordinate utilities, support agency responses, and visit worksites to resolve issues
* Ensure quality control of project documents and recommend solutions to technical or logistical issues
* Prepare project schedules and construction timelines to ensure efficient execution
* May sign/seal construction drawings as the project's technical lead
* Occasional physical activity such as navigating uneven terrain or working around equipment
* Regular interaction with clients and agencies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
* Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas
* 8+ years of relevant land/site development and project management experience
* Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and civil design tools (e.g., StormCAD, PondPack, Hydroflow, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS)
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Primarily office-based with frequent travel to project sites
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, clients, and public agencies
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD-Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suites, and design software such as StormCAD, PondPack, Hydroflow, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with effective communication and leadership skills, oral and written
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
