Job Details

Title - Network Operations Engineer Location:- Pittsburgh, PA

Duration : 3 months with possible extension

Job description

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will:

Support the company's highly technical software and hardware engineering teams by providing tier 2 support for network issues and managing network support ticket queues.

Troubleshoot and diagnose VPN, Wi-Fi, Internet, and internal network issues.

Monitor network and security infrastructure via organizational tools and platforms.

Engage with other cross-functional teams to escalate and prioritize support issues.

Assist in network deployment and testing.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant industry experience

Experience with troubleshooting complex issues and providing detailed root cause analysis

An understanding of network orchestration and automation with Python, Ansible, and Terraform

Experience supporting BGP networks along with other advanced routing protocols

Fundamental understanding of network security with experience in edge firewall support

Fundamental understanding of SSE VPN solutions with widely distributed users

A drive to learn and work with industry-leading technologies

Ability to provide reliable support to users

Demonstrates strong attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of various technical expertise

Attentive listening skills and the ability to synthesize the information provided

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Fortinet firewalls and switching, Ubiquiti Wi-Fi, and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA

Experience with Cradlepoint NetCloud and Cradlepoint routers
