Onsite/Hybrid: Hybrid 50%
Work schedule: Weekday, regular business hours (8am-5pm)

Must Have List
  • First-hand experience in a UX Design role (3+ years of experience)
  • Expertise with Figma (resume must demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge)
  • Strong understanding of lean UX principles and iterative design processes
  • Ability to translate business requirements, feature requests, and research insights into functional, on-brand, accessible interface designs
  • Ability or willingness to learn and contribute to UX research activities, such as heuristic evaluations, usability studies, and user interviews

CW must be onsite, 50% of the time at Lawrenceville. EM highly prefers local candidates.
Normal business hours (8am-5pm). Onsite days are flexible.

Purpose and Scope of Position:

The Enterprise Accessibility & User Experience team is passionate about solving problems and designing experiences that exceed users expectations accessible-by-default, on-brand, intuitive, and supporting our cross-enterprise partners in achieving business needs. We are looking for a talented and motivated UX Designer to help shape the user experience of our internal and external websites and applications.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business partners, developers, UX researchers, accessibility specialists, and others at all levels of seniority across our company. Your primary focus will be creating seamless and appealing user experiences, which you will mainly achieve through wireframes, prototypes, and component design; but you will also have the opportunity to contribute to UX research efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop user interfaces that are intuitive, user-friendly, technically feasible, and digitally accessible.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business goals.
  • Work with UX researchers to incorporate user insights into the design process.
  • Occasionally support and contribute to UX research activities.
  • Ensure designs conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA.
  • Include accessibility annotations in design handoffs, guiding developers to implement the product so that it can be used by everyone.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards and UX Style Guide & UI Kit alignment.
  • Contribute to and help manage UX Style Guide & UI Kit components.
Education:
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role
  • Knowledge of UX research methodologies and the ability to collaborate with UX researchers
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills with Figma
  • Willingness to learn and apply digital accessibility standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the ability to explain design decisions and ask the right questions to support those decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international multidisciplinary team environment
