Accountant I

Duration: 06 Months Contract

Job Description:

• Construction background preferred knowledge of AIA/progress billing a plus!
• Provide wide variety of operational and administrative functions such as purchasing, billings, entering projects, entering change orders, cost revisions, correspondence, logs, collections, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain electronic job files and records insuring that all appropriate documents are filed accurately in the proper location on a timely basis
• Prepare purchase orders, subcontracts
• Track monthly subcontract cost
• Generate monthly billings/prepare lien waivers
• Prepare sales tax reports

Experience:

• Assist management and staff in providing administrative support necessary to conduct departmental business
• General understanding of certified payroll/Davis Bacon Wages/CCIP/OCIP
• Ability to invoice projects and enter required invoices into customer billing portals
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
• This position will require a high level of organizational expertise, along with a customer centric, self-starting, adaptable, and team player mind-set

Skills:

• Maintain various project related spreadsheets
• Assist subcontractors with A/P
• Collect outstanding projected related A/R
• Generating warranty letters

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
