Pega System Architect, Senior
The Opportunity:

Are you looking to take your Pega systems skills to build something new from the ground up? Are you ready to take on a complex client challenge to architect and build applications on enterprise Pega platform in a fast-paced, agile environment? Are you up to the challenge of mentoring and building a community of Pega practitioners? As a Senior Pega Systems Architect, you will use your Pega implementation lessons learned and apply them to lead the design, architecture, and development of an enterprise case management system supporting turnover of over 300,000 cases per year from vision to production-ready system.

We need an experienced Pega expert who will use their passion to design and build complex Pega applications for our federal government clients. Supporting the Pega Government Platform architecture, including integration with external APIs and implementation in Amazon Web Services ( AWS ) , to identify and implement Pega best practices, system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using Agile Scrum processes and Pega Agile Studio, you'll design and lead implementation of an agency wide Pega solution on AWS supporting multiple Pega applications. Your team will analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. As a te chn ical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to build digital solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience building Pega applications using Dev Studio
  • Experience integrating Pega applications with enterprise level APIs and data services
  • Experience with Pega platform version 7.x
  • Experience working within an Agile environment on a Scrum or team construct
  • Experience with unit testing, correcting defects, and delivering production grade applications
  • IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Pega Senior System Architect ( CSSA ) Certification


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with programming languages, including Java, .NET, C#, or JavaScript and Node
  • Experience with Pega platform version 8.x
  • Knowledge of Pega Cosmos Themes or similar UI framework


Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
