Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Roadmap Development: Architect, develop, and implement our technology roadmap, focusing on transitioning prototypes into production-ready backend systems that are both scalable and resilient.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and the company s overarching strategy.
  • Web3 Integration: Integrate with web3 technologies and protocols, emphasizing secure connections, efficient data flow, and adaptability to evolving market trends and business needs.
  • Customer-centric Solutions: Deliver backend solutions that consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, driving company growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up to date with the latest advancements in backend and web3 development to ensure the company remains a leader in technological innovation.
  • Scalable Architecture: Establish a robust and scalable tech architecture designed to meet current business needs while anticipating future market demands.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional engineering experience. Startup experience is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven expertise and strong coding proficiency in core backend technologies, including but not limited to relevant programming languages (e.g., Go, Rust), databases, and cloud platforms. Familiarity with Go and Rust is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
  • Open-source Contributions: Demonstrated history of significant open-source contributions, showcasing a commitment to delivering quality and impactful software.
  • System Design Mastery: Extensive experience in designing resilient systems and APIs from scratch, with a strong focus on robust architecture and scalability.
  • Optional Achievements: Competitive accolades, such as programming contests (e.g., ACM-ICPC, Topcoder) or Capture-the-Flag events (e.g., CSAW, DEFCON), are highly valued but not required.
