Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in improving data integration processes and bridging gaps between existing systems and advanced reporting tools. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring data accuracy and accessibility as the organization prepares for future system upgrades.
Responsibilities:
Analyze existing business systems and processes to identify areas for improvement in data integration and accessibility.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective solutions using business intelligence tools.
Facilitate the transition between legacy systems and modern platforms, ensuring seamless integration and accurate data transfer.
Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to capture technical and functional needs.
Utilize Power BI and other reporting tools to create insightful dashboards and visualizations.
Implement agile methodologies to streamline project execution and enhance collaboration.
Provide recommendations and strategies to optimize data workflows and reporting capabilities.
Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and understanding.
Conduct regular assessments to monitor system performance and address any gaps or inefficiencies.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or related fields.
Proficiency in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to outline project scopes and specifications.
Expertise in using Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience working within Scrum frameworks.
Strong knowledge of business systems and processes, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to bridge gaps between systems and reporting tools.
Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and technical teams.
Familiarity with data integration strategies and system upgrade preparations.
