Position: Jr. Cybersecurity Project Manager
Location: Columbus, OH(Hybrid)
Duration: Long term The Cybersecurity Project Manager is responsible for guiding cross-functional cybersecurity teams using Agile and waterfall methodologies, to achieve cybersecurity objectives. In this role, you will lead project planning, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation efforts while maintaining a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles. The Cybersecurity Project Manager will foster collaboration, facilitate, and align project goals with security requirements while delivering these secure solutions on time and within budget. PMs are expected to manage full project lifecycles using Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative methods. Deliverables include Project Charters, Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and Technical Documentation. Agile readiness checklists, UAT approvals, and deployment plans. Change management artifacts like stakeholder assessments and adoption strategies

Responsibilities:

Support project management processes, including statement of work development and vendor performance tracking
Apply knowledge of risk, issue, decision, dependency, status reporting, demand, budgeting, and capacity management
Manage project financials, including capital and O&M spend forecasting, budgeting, and accruals
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and promote a culture of teamwork
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and contribute to effective project presentations
Utilize project management and SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile, along with tools like ServiceNow, PowerBI, and Jira
(Nice to Have) Familiarity with Archer tool and experience in policy/standard management, compliance, risk assessments, and issue tracking

Experience:

3+ years of experience in a project management or leadership role, overseeing cross-functional IT and business initiatives.
Proven experience managing large, complex projects involving both internal and external resources, and a mix of labor and non-labor cost components.
Strong background in project cost management and resource capacity planning.
Experience with change management strategies to support project success.
Skilled in indirect team management, including mentoring, training, and assigning tasks across team members.
Familiarity with the Energy Industry is a plus.
Project Management Skills:

Extensive knowledge of project management best practices, including Waterfall, Agile, and SDLC methodologies.
Proficient with project management tools and frameworks.
Strong business process analysis and mapping capabilities.
Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams across IT and business functions.
Demonstrated success in engaging and maintaining relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders.
Leadership:

Excellent leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing and guiding high-performing teams.
Capable of fostering collaboration among cross-functional stakeholders from all areas of the organization.
Education & Training:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in technical project management.
Completion of 4 hours of PMM (Project Management Methodology) training prior to role initiation.
Commitment to 20 hours of ongoing professional development annually.
Certifications (Preferred):

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Agile certifications such as Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO).
ITIL v3 or v4 certification is a plus.
