Title: BW-on-HANA / SNP Glue Admin SAP BW HANA Analytics
Location: Chicago, IL (Ocassional Travel)
Rate: $70/hr
Experience: 10+ Years Required

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced BW-on-HANA / SNP Glue Administrator to support and optimize SAP BW HANA Analytics platforms in a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL. The role involves monitoring performance, resolving issues, and ensuring the platform's stability in collaboration with Basis, DevOps, and data engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide user support and issue resolution for the SAP BW-on-HANA platform

  • Monitor and maintain platform health and ensure optimal performance

  • Perform remediation steps proactively to address platform degradation

  • Monitor and support critical BEx reports in line with SLA agreements

  • Coordinate with Basis, Data Engineers, and DevOps Data Support teams to implement enhancements and integrations

  • Provide OSS Message support and collaborate with SAP support as needed

  • Ensure continuous uptime and availability of BW reporting infrastructure

  • Support SNP Glue integrations and data synchronization tasks

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP BW, BW-on-HANA, and SNP Glue Administration

  • Proven ability to manage and resolve platform issues efficiently

  • Deep understanding of SAP Analytics, BEx queries, and performance optimization

  • Experience working with cross-functional support teams (Basis, DevOps, Data Engineering)

  • Strong experience with OSS message handling and coordination with SAP support

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and platform monitoring skills

  • Ability to work in a hybrid onsite environment in Chicago

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of S/4HANA integration scenarios

  • Experience with SAP Data Services or SLT

  • Background in supporting regulated industry reporting environments (e.g., healthcare, finance)
