This role involves developing and maintaining custom software applications that serve a diverse user base across multiple departments. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

We are seeking a motivated and driven Application Developer to join a dynamic IT team supporting legislative operations. This role involves developing and maintaining custom software applications that serve a diverse user base across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for building impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom in-house software applications
- Integrate internal software solutions with third-party platforms
- Develop intranet and internet applications that interact with relational databases
- Participate in full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Document test plans and troubleshoot application issues
- Provide regular status updates on development progress
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in application development using .NET
- Proficiency in SQL for developing database-driven web applications
- Strong front-end development skills with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with PHP is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
