Change Manager

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

In this role you will be responsible for:
Facilitate and lead change management practices within the business organization.
Apply a standard Change Management methodology to prepare for, manage and sustain change through all change activities. This includes strategic, organizational, process, and system changes.
Plan and Execute on Change Management strategies and plans for transformation initiatives/projects.
Perform impact analysis and evaluate the impact of change in the organization.
Develop a change heatmap to understand change saturation in the organization.
Develop change governance models to support operations and transformational projects.
Through continual employee engagement and adoption metrics, look for opportunities to make process improvements to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness.
Assist in developing plans to properly manage organizational changes.
Identify and address areas of concerns of employees about changes.

Basic Skills and Requirements

Bachelor s degree or higher
7+ years experience in a Change Management role
Experience in business operations
Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex issues.
Proficiency to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
Ability to work independently as well with others.
Able to lead cross-functional teams.

Nice to have Requirements.
PROSCI Certification or CMS Certification (Change Management Specialist)
PMP Certification
Software project management experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with SAFe and Agile methodologies

Main responsibilities

Track impacts to teams from all functional areas
Be an advocate for the teams with teams impacted by the changes, ensuring their concerns are being heard and addressed.
Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance.
Hold the necessary level of meetings with the impacted teams throughout the project, capturing and reporting any issues/concerns.
Drive and/or contribute to the monthly communications and go-live communications.
Create actionable deliverables for the change management plans.
Create training materials (slide decks and/or documents with screenshots)
Ensure the necessary trainings are being completed (does not mean they are conducting the training sessions)
Drive the project team to create the right level of documentation to ensure post-release success.
Conduct a post-mortem on the project capturing best practices, improvements, and next steps.


What are the top three contributions this new hire will make to the company within their first 90 or 120 days?

Have a clear understanding of the Project Scope and know what they are expected to deliver.
Drive and/or contribute to the monthly communications to different levels of audience.
Create actionable deliverables for the change management plans and effectively communicate this plan to different levels of audience.


What qualifications are must-haves for candidates? (e.g., X technical skills, experience with Y projects, Z certification or license)

A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
Experience with and knowledge of change management principle and methodologies
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
Problem solving and root-cause identification skills.
Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
Experience with large-scale organizational change effort
