Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Note:
- Face-to-face interview highly preferred for local candidates.
- Candidate must be available to work 3 4 days onsite each week.

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Content Strategist to lead the planning, development, and management of content across digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of audience behavior, SEO, brand voice, and content performance analytics. This role plays a key part in aligning content initiatives with business objectives and enhancing overall user engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy to support business goals and strengthen brand awareness.
- Conduct content audits and gap analyses to identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, UX, and tech) to ensure content aligns with user needs and organizational objectives.
- Manage editorial calendars to ensure timely delivery across all channels.
- Optimize content for SEO, accessibility, and engagement, leveraging analytics and data-driven insights.
- Define and maintain content governance standards including tone, style, and brand voice.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics; refine strategies to drive measurable improvements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging tools, and digital storytelling best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3 5 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or editorial management.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficient in CMS platforms, SEO tools, and analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Experience with UX writing, content design, or structured content frameworks is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with design thinking and user-centered content development methodologies.
- Understanding of structured content models (e.g., DITA, schema.org).
- Experience working within Agile teams or product-driven environments.
