Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for patients in person and via telephone
  • Manage disability paperwork processing for clinic patients from start to completion
  • Collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily transactions
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information in Epic
  • Schedule patient appointments and complete full registration process

Required Qualifications:

  • Documented experience processing disability paperwork (must appear on resume)
  • Strong working knowledge of medical insurance verifications, referral processes, and benefits (must provide detailed examples during interview)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of recent experience as a Patient Services Representative or similar role
  • Proficient in Epic systems
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare operations
