Role: UCaaS Discovery & Migration Analyst

Location Chicago, IL (Remote)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Role Summary

This role is responsible for supporting discovery efforts related to the migration of Unified Communications services from RingCentral and RingCentral Contact Center to Microsoft Teams. The analyst will serve as a liaison between internal collaborators to gather technical and operational requirements, document current-state configurations, and support for a seamless transition.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Documentation

  • Conduct discovery sessions with internal teams to gather requirements and assess current RC/RC Contact Center configurations.
  • Document call flows, auto attendants, user profiles, integration, and API dependencies.
  • Review and complete Business Requirements Documents, Letters of Agency, and user upload templates.

Migration Planning Support

  • Collaborate with RingCentral project managers to define migration scope, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Identify risks and dependencies and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in porting number coordination and user provisioning.

Partners Coordination

  • Serve as the point of contact for discovery-related communications between Assured Partners
  • Coordinate with Contact Center administrators, IT support engineers, and API owners to ensure readiness.

Reporting & Communication

  • Maintain status reports and discovery logs.
  • Provide regular updates to project leadership and escalate blockers as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of RingCentral MVP, Contact Center platforms and Microsoft Teams Phone.
  • Experience with UCaaS migrations into Microsoft Teams, including number porting, call flow mapping, and user provisioning.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and enterprise telephony environments.
  • Proficient in engaging with multiple team members and prioritizing effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted platforms and environments.
  • Project coordination or business analyst background.
