Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator
Location: Milpitas, CA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Contract

• Job Summary:
  We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Administrator to support and maintain Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and storage systems for Engineering and Corporate IT environments.
• The ideal candidate will provide L3/L4 support, manage system infrastructure in Engineering Labs, and perform hardware/software troubleshooting and recovery. This role demands strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), TCP/IP networking, and hands-on experience supporting engineering users in a large corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily IT support for engineering groups, including advanced issue troubleshooting and resolution.
• Maintain, provision, and upgrade servers and infrastructure systems.
• Implement OS patches, configure hardware/software, and ensure antivirus compliance.
• Maintain documentation, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT teams, and vendors.

Must-Have Skills:

• 3 5 years of experience with Windows OS, Networking (TCP/IP), Hypervisors, and File Storage Systems.
• Experience with server builds, network switch deployments, DFS, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Acronis imaging.
• Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Citrix XenServer.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and system security practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Linux System Administration and scripting.
• Background in production planning, logistics, or inventory control is a plus.
