The Business Systems Analyst will support the Revenue Cycle Redesign team by analyzing user requirements, improving existing systems, and facilitating data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to complete scoping documents, manage project tracking, and maintain reporting dashboards using Smartsheet and Google Sheets.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and domain owners
- Complete and maintain scoping artifacts and ballpark estimates in collaboration with business sponsors
- Update and manage idea records and promote qualified ideas through the demand lifecycle
- Monitor project tracking boards to ensure timely progression through project phases
- Extract data from ServiceNow and maintain reporting dashboards in Smartsheet and Google Sheets
- Create and manage Smartsheet dashboards and reports using formulas and visual tools
- Coordinate with the Strategic Realization Office and other departments to ensure alignment and progress
- Work independently to meet deliverables and escalate issues appropriately
qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in business systems analysis or a related role (e.g., data analyst, project coordinator with technical skills)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines without close supervision
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, including advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS)
- Experience with Smartsheet (Grid, Timeline, Dashboard) and creating reports using formulas
- Ability to extract and manage data from ServiceNow
- Familiarity with G-Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Basic understanding of healthcare revenue cycle concepts is preferred but not required
- Experience in project coordination or stakeholder engagement is a plus
