Job Details

Overview
We are seeking an Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, with a strong emphasis on the General Ledger (GL) module, integrations, and data migration. This role supports major finance transformation programs, GL reporting enhancements, and ERP Cloud optimization initiatives.
Ideal candidates bring hands-on accounting operations experience (AP, AR, Cash Management, reconciliations, EFTs/wires) paired with strong functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead functional analysis for GL integrations, data flows, and cross-module interactions (AP, AR, Cash Management, Procurement, FA, Intercompany, HCM).
  • Drive data migration activities including mapping, transformation logic, validation, conversions, and reconciliations.
  • Develop and execute functional and UAT test cases for integrations, configuration changes, and data loads across Oracle Fusion.
  • Document requirements and support system enhancements aimed at improving GL reporting performance and finance operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Finance Operations to validate journal entries, reconciliations, billing, payments, cash transactions, and month-end workflows.

Required Skills & Experience
  1. 5+ years as an Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant or hybrid Functional/Technical Specialist supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  2. Extensive experience with the GL module including financial reporting, integrations, subledger posting logic, and data migration.
  3. Experience supporting large enterprise or financial services environments.
  4. Strong understanding of upstream/downstream module dependencies (AP, AR, Cash Management, Procurement, FA, Intercompany, HCM).
  5. Strong testing capabilities including sprint testing, UAT oversight, defect triage, and data validation.

Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Bilingual (English & French)
  • Experience with IFRS, GAAP, or regulatory finance
  • Exposure to transformation or modernization programs
  • Experience in accounting or finance operations (CPA coursework an asset)
  • Oracle certification in GL or Oracle Financials
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $95.00/hr.
Workplace Type
This is a hybrid position in Toronto,ON.
