Required Skills/Experience
The Senior Automation Programmer will be responsible for the design and programming of the new automation systems as well as the maintenance of existing systems utilizing the latest technologies and trends in Gas PLC and SCADA systems. A successful candidate must have a sound working relationship with all management, supervisory positions, and operators in their designated area.
Responsibilities
The employment of the latest trends in Automation designs and equipment for the Gas industry.
Experience in PLC and HMI programming, testing and field start up experience.
o PLCs (Emerson Control Wave Micro, FloBoss and Allen Bradley)
o HMI Panels & Panel PCs (Allen Bradley, Schneider)
o Cell Modems (Digi and Sierra Wireless)
o Communication Protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP and OPC)
o HMI Programming (Using Software Package):
Development and maintenance of HMI graphical control systems AVEVA OASyS DNA.
Plan, develop and implement new and existing graphic screens. Perform the required programming to ensure an accurate and effective interface between graphics and control systems using AVEVA OASyS DNA application.
This role will provide senior level technical guidance on SCADA system best practices, for the operation of the current AVEVA OASyS DNA system. They will also play a critical roll in the implementation and migration of resources from that system to AVEVA Enterprise SCADA.
Additional Skills
Extensive familiarity with SCADA and controlled environments.
Assignment
Requires travel to various locations to provide on-site support and on-call support on a rotating basis.
Pay Range: $75-85
