Description

Design, develop, write, and test Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) system requirements for continuously improving conventional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Ultifi Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platform features including phone controls, traction control, vehicle prognostics, off road turning, immersive vehicle experience, tire pressure, and engine health residing in Vehicle Cockpit Unit (VCU) and Compute Cluster Unit (CCU). Develop and document Product Technical Specifications (PTS), System Technical Specifications (STS), Interface Control Document (ICD) and System Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (SFMEA). Document functional requirements including product performance, diagnostics, purchase, fulfilment, and user experience, and non-functional requirements including systems safety, terms and conditions, U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), and cybersecurity, for design solutions, using Confluence, Jira, Jama, IBM Rational DOORS and IBM Rational DOORS NextGen (DNG) tools. Perform system design verification including unit testing and integration testing on test benches with Hardware in the Loop (HIL) simulator, in vehicle testing with production Electronic Control Units (ECU).

Additional Description

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, or related role. Must also have experience with: documenting functional requirements including product performance and diagnostics, and non-functional requirements including systems safety, U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), and cybersecurity, for design solutions, using IBM Rational DOORS NextGen (DNG) tool.
