Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, with a primary focus on Fortinet, SonicWall, and Cisco switching technologies.
• Serve as the dedicated network engineering resource for Momentum Midstream, ensuring optimal network performance, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical network solutions.
• Provide high-level support and act as an escalation point for network-related issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Proactively identify opportunities for network optimization and security enhancements.
• Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive presentations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
• Proven experience with Fortinet firewalls and a strong understanding of the Fortinet Security Fabric is highly preferred.
• Current Fortinet FCP (Fortinet Certified Professional) certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency with SonicWall firewalls and Cisco switching.
• Demonstrable experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-level network solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently engage with executive-level management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
