Job Title: Java Production Support Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (5 days Onsite)
Duration: Full Time Permanent
Job Summary :
A senior support engineer with 5+ years of experience working in 24*7 production environment to work in a critical project for one of our biggest clients in Capital Market/ Wealth Management domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in supporting and managing cutting edge technology applications. support engagement.
Years of experience needed 5+ years in Application, Production Support.
Technical Skills:
Technology: .JAVA Application Support , should have experience in debugging production issues, handling application issues, load balancers etc.
Monitoring Tools load balancer:
o Splunk- Should have experience in writing at least basic level queries.
o App Dynamics : Should have experience in analysis AppD s, investigation
Database : Should have knowledge of SQL, writing DDLs, DMLs
Should have prior experience in executing change tickets
Should have strong communication skill
Should have hand on experience on handling deployments. Should have knowledge in Bitbucket, Bamboo
Should be Proactive in Problem Management an Automation
Real-Time troubleshooting of critical application workflows and incorporate feedback to product development.
Good knowledge of ITSM framework.
Triage s & diagnose/resolve critical issues, manage implementation of changes.
Perform root cause analysis of critical incidents/s. Initiate and drive the Techlines in case of outages/major incidents/Batch abends and ensure .Service Restoration in the least time possible.
Act quickly on the application s and Batch Job failures. Should have exposure to batch monitoring tools like Control-M, etc
Identify manual toil, repetitive issues, and work with stakeholders with improvement plan.
Knowledge of JIRA, confluence and remedy ticketing systems
Certifications Needed:
Industry relevant certifications desirable
