Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Provide network services including troubleshooting, monitoring, engineering, and performance evaluation.
  • Install and support data/voice cabling infrastructure.
  • Optimize and assess overall network system performance.
  • XXgn, implement, and review network solutions based on standards and best practices.
  • CollaboXX with vendors to develop and deploy technical solutions and support agreements.
  • Analyze network capacity and validate network-related billing.
  • Support and manage critical multi-site network infrastructure.
  • Travel statewide occasionally, including overnight stays, to perform onsite network services.
  • Research and document current communications technologies, topologies, and trends.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Experience in network engineering for large-scale networks, including requirements analysis and performance optimization.
  • Experience installing, testing, migrating, and supporting data communications and telecommunications systems.
  • Knowledge of wireline and wireless technologies including fiber optics, T1, DS-3, MPLS, VoIP, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP.
  • Understanding of IP networking concepts such as subnetting and routing.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple vendors for problem resolution and issue diagnosis.
  • Proficiency in MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Skills:
  • Excellent working knowledge of LAN, WAN, WAP, Cradlepoint/NetCloud, and structured cabling standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage network installation projects and provide ongoing network administration.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience in network engineering.
