Schedule: 24/7/365 coverage including rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Network Engineer I to support the development and maintenance of network communications in a dynamic data center environment. This role involves assisting with the design, installation, testing, and evaluation of internal and external network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and installation of LAN/WAN systems and network infrastructure.
- Monitor, test, and evaluate network systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Support data center infrastructure projects and structured cabling initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network improvements.
- Maintain documentation and follow standard procedures and practices.
- Work under general supervision with a degree of creativity and latitude.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 2-5 years of experience in network engineering or a related area.
- Familiarity with standard networking concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with structured cabling (copper/fiber) and cable testing (minimum 5 years).
- Knowledge of data center networking and infrastructure.
- Ability to work rotating 8-12 hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel occasionally based on business needs.
