Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Technical Writer to develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, FAQs, and training materials. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, developers, and support teams to produce clear, accurate, and user-friendly content.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, API guides, installation instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and support teams to gather technical information and translate it into understandable content.
Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all documentation.
Edit and review content created by other team members for technical accuracy and readability.
Update documentation to reflect product updates and new features.
Use tools like Markdown, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence, or similar platforms for documentation management.
Adhere to brand and style guidelines to maintain a consistent voice and format.
Assist in developing training materials and tutorials for end-users and internal teams.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them clearly.
Experience with API documentation, user manuals, and online help systems.
Familiarity with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, RoboHelp, or similar.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
