Sr. Project Manager

IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to provide high visibility complex projects to successful completion and to enable Operational and System Modernization technical solutions to be deployed and fully operational.

Tasks:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and strategic vision for large, complex, integrated projects/programs.
• Provide clear and attainable project plans and work tasks across multiple projects.
• Create and manage project constraints of scope, time, cost, and risk across multiple projects.
• Develop and foster effective communications among all stakeholders across multiple projects.
• Conduct feasibility reviews of potential new services and contributing partners.
• Manage project changes, as required.
• Ensure business objectives are met.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):

• Strong organizational and communication skills across IT and business areas.
• Ability to effectively facilitate, lead, and communicate across the organization (IT and business) and within teams.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Location: St Paul, MN (Hybrid)

Contract: 1 year

Skills Required:

• 5 years - Project Management experience.
• 1 year - Experience using remote collaboration tools such as: Microsoft Teams, Skype, SharePoint, etc.
• 4 years - Direct experience as a senior/lead manager in multiple project areas.
• Experience with all aspects of the Project Management Office (PMO) lifecycle, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Product Management Lifecycle (PML).
• Experience with different project methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, etc.
• Experience with conflict management.
• Working knowledge of risk management and change management process.

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• Project Management certification, such as: PMP, CAPM, and PMI-ACP.
