Senior Service Designer / IT Infrastructure / Hybrid / Plano, TX
Our client is a VAR with branches across the US and Internationally. Based out of Plano, TX, they are looking to hire a Senior Service Designer on a Contract-to-Hire basis.
The Senior Service Designer is going to be a core member of the Services Pursuit team. Service Designer has a general knowledge of a particular area of Services (Workplace, Datacenter, Networking & Unified Communications or Cross-functional), such as delivery methodology, cost drivers, supporting / enabling technologies, etc. The Senior Service Designer is responsible for the assessment of customer requirements, development of service design, cost calculation, and non-complex pricing for Services solutions.
Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience pricing large, complex IT Infrastructure projects
- Good service understanding of IT Services (Workplace, Data center, Networking & Unified Communications or Cross-functional),
- Good understanding of the IT outsourcing market & competition
- Commercial capability in a business focused IT environment

- Ability to build relationships primarily with internal stakeholders and ISP's
- Analytical and risk aware approach

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
- Service Design
- Support the qualification of opportunities and customer requirements against the capabilities and strengths of CC Delivery units (ISPs) and the Service Catalogue
- Support of customer specific campaigns, coordination of marketing support, ensuring Computacenter brand compliance
- Working closely and collaboratively with the Solution Manager, assisting with the development of the solution/design (technical, operational, commercial)
- Creates costing for developed service across the entire Services area
