Key Skills & Technical Competencies

  • Privacy Technology Implementation:
    Proven experience in deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise-grade data privacy platforms such as OneTrust, TrustArc, BigID, Collibra, Secure privacy, consent manager, DIDOMI etc. Ability to design solution architecture for automation of compliance workflows (ROPA, DPIA, DSARs, consent lifecycle, and third-party risk).
  • Consent Management Engineering:
    Strong hands-on expertise in implementing consent and preference management systems across multi-channel environments, web, mobile, cookies, SDKs, APIs, SMS, and email. Experience integrating CMPs with internal systems, identity providers, and marketing automation tools through API, SDK, or tag manager-based implementations.
  • Data Flow & Technical Control Design:
    Skilled in mapping data flows, identifying cross-border data transfers, and defining technical and logical controls aligned with global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA etc.). Experience in building and maintaining data lineage and metadata catalogues for regulatory traceability.
  • Integration & System Architecture:
    Capable of designing integration frameworks between privacy tools and enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, HRMS, and analytics systems. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, and data ingestion pipelines used in privacy automation.
  • Automation & Tool Selection:
    Ability to evaluate and recommend suitable privacy technologies and toolsets, create solution comparison matrices, and guide teams on build-vs-buy decisions. Experience in process optimization and workflow automation within privacy ecosystems.
  • Security & Compliance Alignment:
    Familiarity with technical safeguards like encryption, pseudonymization, data masking, tokenization, and role-based access control (RBAC). Understanding of how these controls align with privacy-by-design principles and organizational security frameworks.
  • Technical Documentation & Architecture Governance:
    Ability to create architecture blueprints, configuration baselines, and process documentation for privacy tools. Experience in defining governance models, version control, and change management for privacy technology environments.

  • Certifications (Preferred not mandatory):
    • IAPP: CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPM, CDSE
    • OneTrust Data Privacy Engineers/Specialists st certified: Privacy Automation
    • OneTrust certified: Consent & Preferences
    • OneTrust certified: Data Discovery & Classification
