Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. In this long-term contract role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions for insurance pricing and rating tools projects. This position requires strong expertise in business analysis and leadership within the insurance industry, particularly in Agile environments.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive business analysis to support insurance pricing and rating tool initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Lead Agile processes, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user story creation.
Provide insights into insurance policies, forms, and letters to enhance project outcomes.
Act as a Product Owner to ensure successful delivery of solutions that meet user needs.
Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and performance.
Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement within existing processes.
Review and document business requirements to support IT project management efforts.
Facilitate cross-functional communication between technical teams and business leaders.
Drive decision-making processes to ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum frameworks.
Strong understanding of insurance industry practices, particularly pricing and rating tools.
Proven ability to lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and document results.
Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams.
Experience with gap analysis and identifying process improvement opportunities.
Ability to review and manage technical and business documentation effectively.
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams.
