Key Qualifications:
- Significant experience with Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs)
- In-depth knowledge of ERISA and IRS compliance for 401(k) plans and ESOPs
- Experience negotiating and drafting executive employment agreements and incentive compensation plans for both employers and executives
- Familiarity with employee benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions, including ERISA-related due diligence and agreement review
- Ability to advise clients on compliance with Internal Revenue Code Sections 280G and 409A
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and high level of initiative
- Excellent academic credentials and strong communication skills
Candidates must be a member of the bar or able to waive into the state where they will be practicing in
