Our Opportunity
  • Our client, a leading company in the financial services industry, is seeking a Security Automation Engineer with strong DevSecOps expertise to join their team in Southlake, TX. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and supporting robust security solutions across various platforms and enhancing their automation capabilities.


Responsibilities:
  • Apply DevSecOps principles to build and support security solutions for Windows, Linux, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Contribute to services such as Enterprise Vulnerability Management, data protection, privacy and compliance, and network protection.
  • Design and implement security solutions using modern technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
  • Develop and deploy automation scripts primarily in Python, leveraging APIs for integration.
  • Work with and integrate AI-enabled automation workflows.
  • Automate security controls, data, and processes to provide valuable metrics and operational support.
  • Utilize cloud-based APIs to integrate and orchestrate various systems within automation workflows.
  • Collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary plan-build-run teams.
  • Develop and deliver solutions following Agile methodologies.


Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in low-code environments such as Appian and Microsoft Power Platforms is mandatory.
  • Experience with Identity and Access, Endpoint, and Vulnerability Management cybersecurity automation workflows.
  • Strong understanding and expertise in systems automation platforms and technologies.
  • Proficiency with Agile methodology and Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey relevant information to diverse audiences (business leaders, engineers, clients, team members).
  • Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
  • Experience with Alteryx ETL and Workflow Designer platform is a plus.
