Maximus is seeking a Mid-Level Python Developer to join our team based out of Hines, IL and Martinsburg, WV!

Do you thrive on streamlining processes and outsmarting threats? Are you passionate about cybersecurity and excited by the power of automation? Maximus is seeking a talented Mid-Level Python Developer with Swimlane SOAR engineering experience to join our dynamic team and revolutionize our security defense!

What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge automation workflows using
Swimlane SOAR.
- Integrate SOAR with your security ecosystem, bringing orchestration and
efficiency to VA OCIO.
- Analyze security incidents and craft playbooks that proactively respond to
and mitigate threats.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain the SOAR platform for peak
performance.
- Collaborate with security analysts and threat intelligence teams to
continuously refine your defenses.
-Share your expertise through internal training and documentation.

Required Skills:

- Due to Federal requirements this position requires U.S. citizenship. Additionally, all applicants must be eligible to work for any employer without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates will be required to pass a government-sponsored background investigation.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information
Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or
related fields.
- Ability to work on-site in Hines, Illinois (Greater Chicago area) or Martinsburg, West Virginia in a hybrid work environment (80% remote, 20% on-site).
- 5+ years of Python experience.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and incident response
processes.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to dissect complex security issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with
diverse teams.
- A passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other security tools like SIEM, EDR, or threat intelligence
platforms.

- Proficiency in Swimlane SOAR.
- Certifications in SOAR, security analytics, or related fields:

Swimlane Certified SOAR Administrator (SCSA) or Developer (SCSD)

Swimlane Certified SOAR User (SCSU)

Security+.
- A drive to stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving threat landscape.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
