## IT Structure and Methodology

- Our IT department is now organized by line of business to enhance focus.

- We've adopted the SAFe Agile methodology.

- All developers are part of agile teams.

- Teams are dedicated to different products: support product, app submission, issue submission, API, and enforced.

## Roles and Responsibilities

- PJ is the technical support as the system architect.

- RacheI provides administrative support for all developers

- We're also looking to expand our annuities product portfolio across the company.

## Agile Process

- Work is divided into features and user stories.

- We use Azure DevOps for code management and tracking.

- Teams commit to tasks within a six-week program increment, broken into two-week iterations.

## Technical Tools and Systems

- We use Microsoft Micro Focus Visual COBOL with Visual Studio.

- Our systems include repetitive payment systems and policy link systems.

- File transfers are managed with MOVEit.

- API Connect is used for API calls.

## Testing and Quality Assurance

- Tosca is being set up for automated testing, though it's still new to our process.

- Some teams have dedicated QA testers; others require developers to code their own test cases.

- System demos are conducted at the end of each iteration for stakeholder feedback.
