PCB Simulation Engineer to perform precise correlation of PCB interconnect measurements with frequency-domain simulation models.
This role requires deep knowledge of PCB manufacturing artifacts, such as copper roughness, and their integration into electromagnetic simulations.
Perform electromagnetic simulations of PCB interconnects to ensure high-accuracy correlation with measured data.
Develop and specify interconnect structures and requirements for effective fixture removal in lab measurements.
Extensive industry experience in PCB interconnect characterization and measurement techniques.
Advanced proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools, such as Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, or Cadence Clarity.
Expertise in fixture removal techniques, including TRL, 2X THRU (AFR, ISD), to ensure precise measurement de-embedding.
Proficiency with data analysis software (MATLAB, Python) is required, with experience in scripting (Python, TCL) or GUI design a plus.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for PCB design and characterization.
