Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Hartford, Connecticut. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and hands-on support for a variety of hardware and software systems, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, configuration, and management of multiple technologies.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware such as Dell devices and Apple products.
Manage and support technologies such as Android devices, Cisco systems, and Citrix environments.
Administer Active Directory, ensuring user accounts and permissions are properly configured.
Implement and oversee backup solutions to safeguard data integrity and availability.
Collaborate with team members to optimize configuration management processes.
Offer guidance and training to end-users on system use and best practices.
Maintain documentation for technical procedures and system configurations.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience in desktop support roles with a focus on troubleshooting and configuration.
Familiarity with Android development and support for mobile devices.
Hands-on experience with Cisco and Citrix technologies.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, including Dell and Apple devices.
Expertise in Active Directory, including user account management and permissions.
Understanding of backup technologies and their implementation.
Ability to manage configuration processes effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user support and collaboration.
