Pay Transparency

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to provide expertise in managing and optimizing IBM-based systems and technologies for a federal client's critical operations. As a key member of our team, the System Administrator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of mission-critical IBM solutions.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Lead the administration and maintenance of systems and supporting a wide array of technologies, including Windows, Linux and IBM-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal system operation.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain security and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to safeguard system integrity and data privacy.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and measures across systems and technologies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for incidents and issues.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.
- Must be based around Colorado Springs, CO.
- This individual will be responsible for the daily operation of mission critical systems on a 24x7x365 workday basis. Shift work will be required.
- 12+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a related field.
- Experience in Windows, Linux, and IBM-based systems
Desired Experience:
- Experience with Opensource tools
- Experience with IBM-based tools, such as IBM Control Center, IBM DataPower Gateway, IBM Data Studio, IBM Integration Bus ToolKit, IBM Security Access Manager, IBM Security Identity Manager, IBM Systems Director and ITCAM, IBM Tivoli Monitoring, IBM WebSphere, IBM Identity Insight, or IBM Address Verification Interface
