RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Quincy, MA that is seeking a Solutions Architect III (Senior) to lead strategic initiatives in Consumer Banking and Channels Architecture. This role involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to refine requirements, design scalable solutions, and influence enterprise-wide architectural standards. The Architect will play a key role in shaping operational strategies and ensuring alignment with business and IT goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead solution architecture for high-impact Consumer Banking and Channels projects
* Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand strategy and future needs
* Communicate strategic updates and present to senior leadership
* Collaborate with architecture and technical teams to design and implement scalable systems
* Develop blueprints and roadmaps that balance IT efficiency with business innovation
* Create and maintain architecture deliverables including Logical/Functional Architecture Diagrams; Integration Use Case Sequence Diagrams; Technical Blueprints
* Conduct discovery analysis and document implementation strategies
* Act as liaison between business units and IT throughout the product lifecycle
* Recommend and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
* Mentor and guide best practices, design standards, and implementation strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of experience in IT, with 7+ years in a solution architecture role
* Proven experience in Digital Banking and Consumer Banking architecture
* Integration design experience
* Expertise in high-traffic applications and technologies including AWS, APIs, Kafka/MQ/Event Bridge, ReactJS, Java
* Strong understanding of banking functions: Customer Authentication, IVR, Call Center Services, Payments
* Familiarity with platforms and tools such as: Genesys Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle
* Proficiency in cybersecurity concepts: MFA, encryption standards, device biometrics, risk assessments
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Demonstrated success working closely with both business and technical owners
* Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
