Job Title: System Test Engineer

Location: Farmington Hills, MI

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and Charles Proxy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing mobile applications, debugging issues, analyzing network traffic, and ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Android/iOS mobile applications.
  • Use ADB commands for device-level operations such as log capturing, application installation/uninstallation, and performance monitoring.
  • Utilize Charles Proxy to intercept, inspect, and debug HTTP/HTTPS traffic between the mobile app and backend services.
  • Participate in agile development processes and provide QA insights during sprint planning and reviews.
  • Validate APIs and ensure end-to-end data flow between app and backend services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in mobile application testing.
  • Proficient in using ADB commands for Android testing and debugging.
  • Expertise in Charles Proxy or similar network tools (e.g., Fiddler, Wireshark).
  • Experience with mobile test automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCTest) is a plus.
